Now, these women can have more stable employment, thereby improving their living conditions.
Furthermore, Parak addresses the issue of avocado monoculture by introducing coffee cultivation in avocado orchards. This diversification not only protects the soil but also revitalizes the land and promotes more sustainable agriculture. The Criollo Arabica coffee variety, which had almost been lost in the region, is being carefully recovered and cultivated again, bringing with it the hope of a more diverse and ecological future.
